You may have noticed some changes lately, especially on our Instagram.  I have been super busy lately getting a ton of good things gathered up for you.  Saying that, let’s get on our hard hats and take a tour of some of the upcoming changes.

Increased Presence on Instagram

I have been ramping up our Instagram, sharing all the things we love.  You can find posts of lecture notes, new stationery supplies I am trying out, and old stationery brands that I love.  This is also where I will focus on all of the randomness encountered in my life.  You know, Insta stuff!

Chordates Video Series

We have a brand new weekly series of youtube videos starting June 5th and uploading on Thursdays.  It will be focused on the Phylum Chordata.  We will be covering both broad strokes and some of the nuances and oddities found within this phylum.  Chordates are one of the most diverse and studied groups of animals.  In fact, it is the group that we colloquially refer to as animals.  I would really love to go off on a tangent right now and spew off so many interesting things about these guys, but I will save it for the videos.  Trust me. It’s worth a watch.

Study Tips Series

We are going to resume our study tips series Tuesdays here on the blog.  Here we will explore a ton of different ways you can increase the efficiency of the study time you have and tips to organize your life.  I am an advocate for being able to enroll in an actual class that teaches you how to study.  They should really offer this in colleges and universities because it is often so different than in high school. I hear stories all the time from undergrads that say they barely had to study in high school.  That between reading their textbooks and doing their homework, they were able to get great grades.  University, however, is a whole different monster.  You walk in on the first day confident and full of optimism, but the first time you sit down at an exam, the terror overcomes you.

I was one of those people who had to re-teach myself to study once I started as an undergrad.  It was really hard, and I went through a lot of trial and error.  I researched many different techniques to find what worked for me.  The most important thing I learned is that not all methods work for everyone, but everyone has a method that works for them.

I hope you are as excited about these changes as I am.  This is a load of content that I know you will enjoy!

What kind of series do you want to see in the future?  Let me know in the comments below!
